Can you recover my wallet if I lose my recovery phrase?

No. CredChains Wallet is non-custodial by design, which means only you control the recovery phrase and private key. If both are lost, the wallet cannot be recovered for you.

How do I claim a badge?

Open the claim link you received, review the badge details, and connect or unlock your CredChains Wallet to complete the claim. Once claimed, the credential is linked to your wallet and can be viewed or shared from there.

Why does the app ask for my email?

Email is optional. If you provide it, the app can help match badges that may have been issued to you before the wallet was installed. You can skip that step or remove the email later.

What does CredChains store about me?

CredChains keeps the marketing-site contact information you choose to send us, and the wallet sends only the minimum data needed for badge claims, wallet lookups, and optional push notifications. The full product-specific breakdown is in the privacy notice.

How do I get a credential issued?
